Thursday June 3rd - Piano Recital by Scott Dunn at Stargazer Villa 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Tickets $50 including a pre-concert cocktail and canapes. All proceeds to be donated to the Oseta Jolly Primary School music program.
Friday June 4th - Jazz Concert, Dinner & Auction at Amanyara Resort 6:30 - 10:00pm
Tickets $150* including pre-concert cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, one hour jazz concert followed by dinner with wine. Funds raised from the auction will be donated to the Oseta Jolly Primary School music program.
Saturday June 5th - Classical Music Concert and Dinner at Amanyara Resort 6:30 - 10:00pm
Tickets $150* including pre-concert cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, one hour classical concert followed by dinner with wine.

June 01, 2010 - TURKS & CAICOS GOVERNMENT MAKES BUYING PROPERTY EASIER
The idea of purchasing a home in the caribbean is a dream for many. It offers you time to spend with your family in an idyllic location, a place where memories are made that will last a life time, even a place that you may benfit from financially when you are not using it.
The Turks and Caicos Government has made this dream more attainable by reducing Stamp Duty on a long term basis and also giving you the choice to pay Stamp Duty as one lump sum or in stages over a 4 year period. The reduced Stamp Duty rates are 4%, 6%, and 8%. Property purchases Three Million US Dollars or more will now be charged a Stamp Duty rate of 10% of the purchase price. This amount can be reduced to 9% if the buyer pays Stamp Duty in full as a one time payment instead of the alternative of four payments over a four year period. These new stamp duty rates apply to all of the islands in Turks & Caicos except North Caicos, Middle Caicos, East Caicos, South Caicos, Grand Turk, and Salt Cay where the stamp duty rates are 50% less than the above mentioned rates.
Less than $25,000 --- no duty.
$25,000-500,000 --- 4% (four payments of 1% or 3.6% if paid in one installment)
$500,000-1.5 million --- 6% ( four payments of 1.5% or 5.4% if paid in one installment)
$1,500,000 -3 million --- 8% ( four payments of 2% or 7.2% if paid in one installment)
More than $3 million --- 10% (four payments of 2.5% or 9% if paid in one installment)

An Announcement From The Ministry Of Natural Resource, Fisheries & The Environment
Effective immediately the general public is hereby advised that the Government has reintroduced the economic stimulus programme as it regards stamp duty on all land transactions and Belonger discount of Crown Land.
Stamp duty on ALL land transactions is now reduced to 6% on Providenciales and 3% in the rest of the Turks and Caicos Islands until March 31, 2009.
Further, the 10% discount applicable to leases or offers of Crown Land where the option of freehold is taken up before March 31, 2009 will be increased to 25%.
The Ministry Of Natural Resources is therefore encouraging the public to capitalize on this one time offer.
